The days go up, the days go down...

Yesterday I was feeling 112% - I went in for my Dr.'s appointment in the morning, we got an end-point set, I came home and felt great all afternoon (didn't nap), we had a relaxing evening with some dinner brought to us by my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and got to bed by 10:30 p.m.

Then I was up every couple of hours for a bathroom run, until 4 a.m. when the baby started kicking. And kicking. And kicking. And making my back hurt. And I'm waking up Andrew with my rolling around, so then he starts waking me up with HIS rolling around. So by 5:30 a.m. - off to the recliner in the livingroom I go. And get about an hour's worth of "rest" (not deep sleep).

And since I've been up (since about 7 a.m.) I've had contractions and back pain and baby squirming on and off - I took 2 naps - one in the morning, and one in the afternoon - and now the contractions are back again. I've been sitting on my "birth"/exercise ball, walking, standing, I even took a bath for about 20 mins (first time I've had a bath in a LOOOOONG time).

I've downed over 80 oz. of water already today, and that doesn't seem to be making them let up at all. I've eaten regular meals (breakfast and lunch), and I've had 3 loose stools today (that's a recent record). I've also had some (not-so) bloody show - it's more like clear/pink-tinged egg whites. The pain right now seems a bit more intense than I remember ever having it, so far.

I'm PRAYING that the contractions start getting stronger & closer together tonight, because I am just so sick of having these days where the contractions come and go and come and go.

Ok - and just now I went to the bathroom, and I think I'm leaking amniotic fluid - SO - guess I'll call the Birthing Center and go get checked out - wish me luck!
